BBC: Coy about Child Abuse

The BBC, so it would seem from recent news, has always been a little coy about revealing the identities of child abusers, thus it should come as no surprise that in its short report on a case being brought against nine men resident in Rochdale it says nothing regarding their characteristics other than the fact that they are aged between 26 and 39. The nine are said to have sexually exploited a teenage girl since 2005. However, to discover who they were we have to rely upon other sources, such as The Daily Mail and the Manchester Evening News, and given the identities of the men in question, it perhaps becomes apparent why the BBC was so reluctant to divulge any details: seven possess Muslim names and would appear to be of either Pakistani or possibly Bangladeshi origin, whereas the other two are Africans.

The nine accused are: Mohammed Ali, 27; Chola Chansa, 32; Asrar Haider, 38; Abdul Huk, 36; Freddy Kendakumana, 26; Roheez Khan, 26; Anjam Masood, 30; Mohammed Rafiq, 31, and Ali Asghar Hussain Shah, 39. All have been accused of sexual activity with a child under the age of 16, six of them with ‘inciting sexual activity with a child under 16’, and Kendakumana ‘with three counts of rape’ and ‘attempted rape’. The men were arrested in May and will appear between 7 November and 6 December at Bury Magistrates’ Court. This, of course, follows on from the trial of a Muslim grooming gang from Rochdale earlier in the year and the subsequent unrest inthe Heywood district of the town that this provoked in February. Whereas these men and others like them involved in similar crimes elsewhere can still be brought to justice, Jimmy Saville cannot, yet it is to the deceased Saville that the BBC continues to devote its prime news coverage, not to the live phenomenon of Muslim paedophile grooming gangs.

Last night, the BBC’s main television news opened with the Saville Scandal, bumping the latest Muslim terror plotters into the second and most definitely secondary slot. Revolting as the Saville Scandal may be, the BBC appears to be using it to bury other bad news whilst exhuming Saville. Serious questions need to be posed regarding the broadcaster’s editorial policy, for in its news coverage, it is not serving the public in the manner that it should. To withhold information about the backgrounds of the members of this latest Rochdale paedophile grooming gang from the public when other news outlets do not do so seems very odd indeed. Why does the BBC choose to behave in this manner?

EDL Rochdale Demo Coverage: 9 June 2012

As news comes in about this event, updates will be posted here throughout the day. Until information becomes available, it will perhaps be useful to provide a little context for why the EDL has chosen to stage a demonstration in Rochdale today.

The demo has been prompted by the recent conviction of a gang of Rochdale Muslims at Liverpool Crown Court for the grooming of English girls, with these nine convictions being followed up by further arrests and a police hunt for an additional 40 suspects. At least 47 girls are believed to have been victims of the gang sentenced in Liverpool. What has angered members of the EDL, and many members of the public who have read reports of the case, has been the fact that the police and social services had been reluctant to act upon information relating to this case for fear of being branded ‘racist’. Clearly, when such a fear overrides the duty of social workers to protect the vulnerable and police to investigate crimes and arrest criminals, something is seriously amiss both with our legal system and the mode of politically correct thought that it imposes. Moreover, much of the media reporting relating to this case, particularly the BBC’s coverage, has been deliberately inaccurate, seeking to hide the faith background of the criminals by dubbing them ‘Asians’, which in itself constitutes a racial slur against Sikhs, Hindus, Chinese, Japanese and anyone else originating in the vast continent of Asia.

Underpinning the grossly distorted and biased reporting of this phenomenon is the NUJ Code of Conduct, Article 9 of which reads:

Produces no material likely to lead to hatred or discrimination on the grounds of a person’s age, gender, race, colour, creed, legal status, disability, marital status, or sexual orientation.

This singles out ‘creed’, hence presumably the BBC’s coyness about identifying the Islamic identity of the child rapists, and preference for opting for the blanket term ‘Asians’ which encompasses more than one racial group and thus enables its journalists to state that they were not writing anything that could be construed as discriminating upon a racial basis.

Additional NUJ guidelines have been explicit in stating that any party or group that it deems to be ‘far right’, in which it includes the EDL, should not be reported in an objective fashion and should instead be stigmatised. The reporting of any card-carrying member of the NUJ cannot therefore be trusted to provide an accurate representation of an EDL protest or what the EDL stands for.

It is not the first time that supporters of the EDL have taken to the streets of the town, for in March 2011 a protest took place that was met by violent counterdemonstrators (a report of this demonstration can be read here and videos viewed here). Rochdale has witnessed other protests relating to the Islamic issue this year, with an anti-halal protest at a local ASDA in January, a Northwest Infidels (EDL splinter group) demo in February and a local demo in Heywood later that month connected to apprehensions about the Muslim grooming issue which, owing to the actions of a few troublemakers, later resulted in a small number of violent incidents. Rochdale therefore is not a town at ease with itself, and it would behove social services, local politicians and the police to acknowledge and address the real problems that Rochdale faces rather than pretending that they did not exist. It is because of this official reluctance and absence of objectivity that the EDL has seen it necessary to hold the protest, so when local traders complain about the EDL ruining their business on a Saturday, they should instead be directing their complaints to their negligent councillors and telling them to tackle the problems that the EDL highlights, for then such protests would not be necessary and their business would not be disrupted.

Rochdale voters should take note of the attitude of MP Simon Danczuk who has clearly indicated in Mancunian Matters that he wishes to continue to ignore the root cause of this issue, and thereby potentially facilitate further grooming:

“Tomorrow’s ‘protest’ is nothing more than an attempt to stir up racial tensions and incite violence.

“The police are fully prepared to deal with this and the protest will be outside of the town centre, which will be open for business as usual.

“I would urge everyone to continue to support local shops and businesses.”

Danczuk’s statement is a nastily cynical appeal for Muslim votes. It is the ignorance of people like him that has allowed real violence to be perpetrated against English girls by those of a radically different ethno-religious background. If he continues to be blinded by the ‘diversity’ dogma, the voters of Rochdale should ensure that he is ejected at the next General Election, and that someone who does acknowledge their concerns is put in his place.

Coaches please make your way to Sandbrook Park OL11 1RY where you will be met by the police and escorted to designated EDL muster point for drop off.

People arriving at Rochdale train station will be transferred by bus to the muster points.

A short march will begin at the Flying Horse at 13.30 to the demo point where speeches will be made.

Hope Not Hate reports that a 'local group' named Rochdale Unity will be gathering today at the same time as the EDL to mount a 'counter protest'. However, it must be borne in mind that this is no ordinary 'local group', but as is spelt out quite explicitly on the Socialist Workers Party website, a 'local' Trotskyist front group which seeks to capitalise upon the EDL demo to draw in misguided Muslims and locals alike to further the SWP's subversive strategy of undermining our democracy and our right to exist as a people. Local MP Gerald Kaufman, a number of trade unionists (including members of the National Union of Teachers) and anti-democratic organisation UAF have all given their backing to the Rochdale Unity demo. On the Muslim social networking site named yanabi.com Mohammed Shafiq stated that he had made a speech at the counterdemonstration. Shafiq claimed that there were about 100 present at the Rochdale Unity protest. The declared purpose of yanabi.com: 'reviving the spirit of Islam.'

The Halifax Courier reports that 150 EDL supporters gathered in Sowerby Bridge this morning to catch the train to Rochdale. It employed the mandatory NUJ stigmatising label of 'far-right' to describe the EDL, whereas it referred to the convicted Muslim paedophile gang as simply being 'Rochdale men' as in line with Article 9 of the NUJ Code of Conduct as quoted above. However, it did concede that they had been peaceful.

As of 13:06, the Hope Not Hate blog was claiming that 500 EDL had arrived in Rochdale. This contrasts with an estimate of 600 posted on the EDL Forum at 12:26. According to Greater Manchester Police (GMP), no arrests had been made as of 14:03. However, a GMP Tweet of 14:10 stated:

'Four local youths have approached demonstratrors, which caused a standoff. Reports of 'attacks' are exaggerated.'

Quite what was meant by 'local' in this context was not clarified.

According to a Tweet by BBC journalist Catrin Nye, Tommy Robinson/Stephen Lennon had taken to the 'stage with a koran and a fag lighter.' However, the GMP later Tweeted that this statement had been incorrect, and that only EDL posters had been burnt. According to a GMP Tweet issued at circa 14:30 a total of eight arrests had been made, although it was not stated who had been arrested. The demo finished at circa 15:30.

Surprisingly, when the BBC did get around to posting a report on its website at 19:35 it refrained from labelling the EDL as 'far-right' which makes a refreshing change, and even went so far as to make reference to the Pakistani and Afghan origin of the convicted groomers who had been resident in the town. In continuance of what appears to have been a rare piece of straight matter-of-fact reporting from the BBC, it went on to cite the GMP's Chief Superintendent John O'Hare as saying that the scale of arrests - 11 in all - was "not uncommon for an event of that size" and that "I do think it is testament to the organisers themselves who worked with us to ensure the event passed off as peacefully as possible." Although the piece was short, the absence of the usual venom churned out in line with NUJ diktat was welcome, but is this merely a momentary aberration in its reporting of the EDL, or does this mark a new departure? Whatever the case, the EDL organisers are clearly to be congratulated in doing a good job of keeping the protest in good order.

As with the Halifax Courier, the Manchester Evening News chose to describe the EDL as 'far-right' and provided a lower estimate of the number of demonstrators than other sources, claiming that there were 400 in all. It also reported that there had been a total of eleven arrests, ten being made at the protest and one at the counterdemonstration. However, Greater Manchester Police noted that the protest had "passed off peacefully."

BBC’s racist Reporting: 'Asians'

Yesterday’s conviction of nine Muslim male residents of Rochdale for the systematic grooming and repeated multiple rape of young English girls has now rightly been covered by the mass media. However, the manner in which this has been done is striking, insofar as the BBC in particular, and even The Daily Telegraph, have decided to describe the perpetrators of these crimes as ‘Asians’, whereas if they were to be accurate they would have described them as ‘Muslims’ or eight Pakistanis and one Afghan, for it is the Muslim identity of these men that is salient in this instance, it being a common denominator in the many other cases of systematic grooming of native English girls by these so-called ‘Asian’ gangs. It was not Hindus in Keighley who carried out the notorious mass grooming of girls in the town; it was not Thais in Blackpool, Sikhs in Blackburn, Chinese in Rotherham, Japanese in Derby, Burmese in Burnley or Vietnamese in Bradford. No. So, what was the identity of the men involved in the serious cases of systematic grooming in all of these towns and cities? Muslim males of predominantly Pakistani background.

Given the clear pattern displayed in these cases, why do the BBC and other media outlets choose to employ the language of race, casting a slur upon all ‘Asians’? It is quite straightforward really: these criminals are described as ‘Asians’ to render any criticism of this specifically Muslim, usually Pakistani phenomenon, ‘racist’. In doing so, the BBC it could be argued, is being ‘racist’. If I were a Sikh or a Hindu, my blood would be boiling with respect to this linguistic usage. 

At least Mohammed Shafiq of the Ramadhan Foundation has had the decency to condemn this type of crime. Today’s Daily Mail states:

The leader of the Ramadhan Foundation has accused Pakistani community elders of 'burying their heads in the sand' on the issue of on-street grooming.

Mohammed Shafiq, chief executive of the group, said police should not let the 'issue of race' stop them from addressing the issue.

The Ramadhan Foundation is a Manchester-based moderate Muslim youth group that works for 'peaceful co-existence and dialogue for all communities'.

Mr Shafiq said: 'There is a significant problem for the British Pakistani community, there is an over-representation amongst recent convictions in the crime of on-street grooming, there should be no silence in addressing the issue of race as this is central to the actions of these criminals.

'They think that white teenage girls are worthless and can be abused without a second thought; it is this sort of behaviour that is bringing shame on our community.

'I urge the police and the councils not to be frightened to address this issue, there is a strong lesson that you cannot ignore race or be over sensitive.'

Mr Shafiq’s intervention is welcome, and he acknowledges that insofar as the perpetrators of these crimes are concerned, the ‘racial’ element comes into play in the selection of their victims: non-Muslim indigenous girls. The Rochdale case led to a protest in the Heywood district of the town in February, which was unfortunately infiltrated by a number of troublemakers who attacked a local takeaway and the police.

Despite the BBC's innate bias and reluctance to identify the ethno-religious specificity of the majority of crimes of this type, an interview with criminologist Mark Williams-Thomas on this evening's BBC News 24 was quite remarkable, for in spite of the interviewer trying to imply otherwise, Williams-Thomas was startlingly and refreshingly forthright in his insistence that this systematic grooming of English girls was carried out in the overwhelming majority of cases by males of Pakistani and Afghan origin. He emphatically reiterated this point several times, much to the discomfiture of his BBC interviewer. Could it be that this dreadful case from the streets of Rochdale will finally help to bring about a sea change, and force, albeit highly reluctantly, official recognition of the reality of this type of crime and its widespread nature? If so, the EDL should be accorded some credit for tirelessly seeking to highlight the issue of organised Muslim paedophilia. 

For the time being however, neither the mass media nor the mainstream political parties are truly willing to allow members of the public to give vent to their thoughts and feelings on this matter, as demonstrated by the fact that the comments facility on Brendan O'Neill's blog piece entitled 'Muslims, 'sex gangs' and white working-class women' in The Daily Telegraph this evening has been switched off. Likewise, whereas it is normally possible to comment upon Ed West's blog postings, his piece entitled 'Why liberals turned a blind eye to the 'grooming' of girls' also featured a disabled comments facility. Real debate about this issue evidently remains off-limits, and for as long as it does so, those who keep this a taboo subject aid the abusers and betray existing and potential victims.

Unease in Rochdale: Riot or Legitimate Protest?

Last night, a legitimate protest connected to the trial of 11 Muslims charged with paedophile grooming and related offences was unfortunately infiltrated by a small number of troublemakers who attacked a local takeaway – Tasty Bites – on Market Street in Heywood. The takeaway had previously been in the hands of some of the accused, but is now said to be under new management. Its windows were broken, and a policeman was pelted with bricks and other missiles by a handful of the protesters, who are estimated variously as numbering 100-200. Three police cars and another car were also damaged. A 35-year-old man and 14-year-old boy were detained by police in connection with various offences committed that evening. Tonight, the police are taking precautions should there be a repeat of last night’s disorder.

Justly, the police have emphasised that the majority of those who turned out to express their disquiet were not involved in the violence. The initial group of 80 later swelled as it was joined by local “youths”, and it was after this that the trouble started.

The police have attempted to turn this into a ‘race’ issue when in fact it is clearly a religio-cultural one, rooted firmly in the ‘exemplary’ Prophet Mohammed’s taste for paedophilia as demonstrated by his marriage to Aisha. Thankfully, I know that not all Muslims condone paedophilia, for their innate decency causes them to be repelled by it; but those of a paedophile inclination from a Muslim cultural background feel fully justified in their predatory sexual acts precisely because of the actions of Mohammed, whom they deem to be beyond criticism; they do after all, believe him to be the perfect man. Such a belief is what legitimises and normalises paedophilia, particularly when practised with children from non-Muslim – in this instance English – backgrounds. It is frustrating to have to keep reiterating this basic fact, but it does not seem to penetrate the logic-resistant minds of the defenders of Islamic doctrine and practice, both Muslim and non-Muslim alike. This sort of attitude is one of the unfortunate consequences of “diversity training”. People’s minds need to be purged of such false beliefs so that they may think openly, critically and logically once again.

The eleven men standing trial in Liverpool have yet to be sentenced, so we should not prejudice its outcome. However, if they are to be convicted, this will be yet another instance in a long line of such cases involving Muslim men targeting underage English girls and sexually exploiting them, in accordance, as it seems necessary to underscore once again, with the ‘inspirational’ example of their Prophet Mohammed.

Tomorrow the EDL will march in Hyde to protest against a vicious Muslim pack attack on Daniel Stringer-Prince and his friend Kavan Brown. This march and last night’s protest were not, as the police and opponents are claiming, an attempt by ‘racist’ groups to capitalise upon these incidents for their own ends, but an expression of frustration over the refusal of politicians, the police and the mass media to tackle the serious issues of Muslim paedophile grooming and pack attacks, which both target English non-Muslims. These are real phenomena that need to be publicly acknowledged and tackled, instead of being ignored and swept under the carpet for the sake of so-called “community cohesion”. What sort of cohesion is there, when criminal elements within the Muslim population feel that they can prey upon the English in the knowledge that politicians and the police will often turn a blind eye? This is why the EDL, Casuals United and a number of other groups sprang into existence, not because of some desire to ‘scapegoat minorities’ in a time of recession, as some ignorant commentators have claimed.

The EDL, Casuals United and kindred groups have the right to protest about issues that they deem to be unjustly hidden from public view, but nobody has the right of course to attack innocent individuals, businesses or the police. It was therefore unjustifiable for anyone to have attacked the takeaway in question last night, causing unwarranted fear, distress and loss of business to its proprietor and staff.

Worryingly, the police have become increasingly politicised in recent years, and this was reflected in a statement by GMP Superintendent Chris Hankinson who stated at a press conference on events in Rochdale that:

'Those that seek to use what's going on at the moment in Liverpool to further their racist agenda will be dealt with robustly'.

'People feel they can sit behind their curtains on a computer and start putting emotive language and claims on Facebook that can result in people gathering for what would appear to be legitimate reasons but can sometimes be hijacked,' he said.

'The message from me to those people is: think about what you are putting and what that reaction may well cause if you put something inflammatory on it.

'We are, as a police service, monitoring all the sites. Where we see things that are inflammatory or trying to incite or corral people for criminal activity, we will act.'

Who determines what is “inflammatory”? After all, it must be borne in mind that simply to criticise Islam is deemed “inflammatory” by the majority of people who call themselves Muslims. I consider Islam itself to be “inflammatory”, so by such logic, should not all those who profess Islam be monitored? Whose sense of offence trumps the other’s? 

With such a serious issue as Mohammedan paedophile grooming wrecking the lives of hundreds of English girls, why is it that our Prime Minister David Cameron should instead choose to spend his time hosting a football anti-racism summit, rather than tackling the former issue? Certainly, it is unpleasant for anyone to be personally insulted through being the object of verbal abuse of whatever kind, but are the sensitivities of multimillionaire footballers really more important than the lives of young teenage girls, their happiness and well-being seemingly expendable simply because of their class and their English ethnicity? Is the safety of these girls to be deemed less worthy than the cause of “community cohesion” (i.e. winning the Muslim bloc vote)? Is the self-respect of a professional footballer really worth more than the life of Danny O’Shea or the broken bones of Daniel Stringer-Prince? The Prime Minister, for whatever reason, lacks both a sense of proportion and perspective. Will he ever comprehend the lives of ordinary English people who live outside of his cosseted Westminster world of privilege?

Infidels Nationalist Demonstration in Rochdale: 4 February

Whilst the EDL will be taking to the streets of Leicester this coming Saturday, the EDL splinter group Northwest Infidels is planning to mount what it is billing as a nationalist demonstration in Rochdale between 12:00 and 6:00pm. As in the case of the EDL Leicester Demo, its focus on this occasion is not upon the problems presented by Islamisation. In Leicester the cause will be justice for Rhea Page and drawing attention to anti-White racism, and in Rochdale the demo will be “against immigration, EU membership and multiculturalism.” The organisers preface their description of the event with the following:

“We are an alliance of various right wing nationalists, patriotic and loyalist groups from different parts of the UK. Every one of us has slightly different views, some are against all non-white immigration, someare against Islamists and Zionists, some just against Islamists etc. The common ground we share is that we care about our people and our country.”

The Infidels split from the EDL some months ago, and in this instance there appear to be links to Bolton BNP. Another Infidel protest in Leeds last October failed to attract many supporters, but as ever, a group of counter-protesters marched elsewhere in the city and thankfully the two groups did not meet. On this occasion however, an MDL Facebook page entitled ‘Counter the Racist NWI/EDL in Rochdale’ has been set up with the intent of persuading people to confront the demonstrators on Saturday. From amongst its violent and inarticulate mix of MDL supporters and sundry ‘antifa’, there have issued many unpleasant threats (unpleasant both in terms of their content and the violence that was done to the English language in their ‘writing’). One particularly vociferous although scarcely literate let alone articulate contributor goes by the name of Awais Khan. One of his marginally more ‘polite’ contributions runs as follows:

“u fukin muppit cnt w8 to c ur face der im gna smash ur face in till i fukin rip every 1 of dem teeth of urs u wanka”

I can just about decipher that this means that he is threatening to do something disagreeable to someone whom he disagrees with. Yet, despite his illiteracy Khan does display a flicker of self-perception on his Facebook page, where he lists his primary activity as “Being a bit of a twat”. Quite.

How many will support the Northwest Infidels Demonstration? I haven’t a clue. How many of Awais Khan’s charming MDL will be out looking for trouble? Indications are that 174 claim to have pledged to ‘confront’ the Infidels, and a further 57 are said to be considering the ‘invitation’. I do hope that the police will take the necessary precautions to ensure that the MDL do not unleash violence upon the streets of Rochdale this coming Saturday. Asda's EDL Surprise: Rochdale anti-Halal Demo

Congratulations are in order to the 15-20 men of the EDL who turned up to demonstrate against halal meat at an Asda supermarket in Rochdale on Saturday 14 January. Sadly, it is reported that the police were called and that the protesters were then ejected. This perhaps had something to do with the location that the men had chosen for the protest: inside the Dane Street store next to the halal meat section itself. We shouldn’t be surprised therefore that they were moved on.

Although it is certainly a good idea to draw shoppers' attention to businesses that sell halal meat and to the animal cruelty involved in halal slaughter, it would be best not to choose to protest inside a store, but rather outside with say some double-sided A5 or A4 flyers outlining the outrageous exemptions to animal welfare standards made on behalf of religious slaughter without pre-stunning.

Perhaps the oddest aspect of this protest was the perplexed response that it elicited. According to the Rochdale News:

“A spokesperson for Asda said: ""We were surprised at the protest because we cater for everyone, from the new Butcher's Selection display in aisle 31 to the halal concession on the back wall - both have been successful since their launches last year."”

How strange! This individual seems to be either completely oblivious to what halal meat is, or is utterly indifferent to the fact that it entails additional suffering to that undergone by a sentient creature in the slaughter process. Quite clearly, Asda management need to be informed about the nature of this Islamic practice. And to think that such people have the gall to call members of the EDL “ignorant knuckledraggers”! The bigotry and complacency of such multiculturally-inclined businesspeople is startling.

The British Humanist Association has been running a campaign against religious slaughter for quite some time, and it is worth visiting their webpage dealing with this topic, for it contains many good tips on what to do to help bring about a change in legislation to bring these practices to an end. Interestingly, it hosts a number of replies to its letter sent in 2010 asking retailers if they only sell meat from animals which were pre-stunned in the slaughter process. Asda was not amongst the respondents.

The EDL should aim to shame those businesses that sell meat produced through methods of religious slaughter that cause undue additional suffering, and thereby damage their business if they do not change their practices. As a shopper, you can make an informed choice: spend your money elsewhere. Personally, I buy all of my meat from a good local English butcher where I can be sure of its provenance (I also only eat free range, which means that I generally miss out on poultry). If you must buy your meat from a supermarket, consider Morrisons who replied to the BHA as follows:

“At Morrisons we only sell 100% British fresh beef, lamb and poultry. None of it is Halal. The vast majority of our fresh beef and lamb is processed at our own abattoirs in Britain. We adhere to high standards of animal welfare. All of the cattle, lamb and poultry are stunned prior to slaughter.

Our own label frozen beef and poultry is all UK slaughtered and is not Halal.

Our own label frozen lamb is currently sourced from New Zealand and is Halal, the animal is humanely stunned before slaughter and a prayer is read.

The limited range of Halal and kosher branded frozen food products that we sell are all clearly labelled as such.”

It’s a pity that our Kiwi cousins have seemingly been driven by economics to embrace halal slaughter, but that is a matter for them to deal with. Be safe and buy British.   

Once again, congratulations to those EDL activists in Rochdale who carried out the first action in what I hope will be an ongoing campaign of drawing public attention to the violation of animal welfare standards in this country in the name of multicultural ‘tolerance’. I am sure that our Gallic cousins in Bloc Identitaire will also look upon this with approval. 

UPDATE: A contributor to the Casuals United blog named Roxanne has spoken to participants in Saturday's protest and posted a piece in which she states that it was not an official EDL protest, and was instead attended by a combination of EDL supporters and locals concerned at Asda's infringement of animal welfare through its sale of halal meat. She also claims that there were about 30 protesters rather than the 15 reported in the Rochdale News, and notes with appropriate satisfaction that the protest was entirely peaceful.

The first two pieces of footage showing the MDL turning out to confront the EDL in Rochdale yesterday illustrate that the so-called UAF counter-demonstration was predominantly a Muslim affair, with a few miserable Trotskyist indigenes being visible in the first piece as they make their way to the town centre. The second video features MDL supporters yelling a considerable amount of abuse at the EDL. Taking this into account, and their repeated aggressive chants of “Allahu akbar!” (as shown in a video posted yesterday) why did the police deploy a considerable number of dog handlers in front of the comparatively peaceful EDL static demonstration? These would have been put to better use keeping the MDL in order.

Brought to you before the BBC, ITV or Sky, are three pieces of video footage from today’s EDL demonstration in Rochdale. The first of the pieces is the most interesting, featuring as it does a very vociferous group of what were ostensibly UAF counter-demonstrators, but as can be heard from repeated references to the MDL (Muslim Defence League) as well as chants of ‘Allahu-akbar!’, their Islamic affiliation clearly trumped any other political position. This follows the pattern set by a UAF contingent that morphed into supporters of Muslims Against Crusades at a London demo last summer (once again with chants of ‘Allahu-akbar!’).

The second and third pieces of footage focus upon the much more peaceful EDL demonstration, with plenty of mounted police and dog handlers in evidence. However, why were the MDL (hiding beneath the UAF banner) permitted to get so close to the EDL?

Initial Reports from Rochdale EDL Demo: Fireworks go off in EDL Crowd

Live reports state that as of 2.44pm today, approximately 600 EDL supporters had arrived in Rochdale for their protest outside of the Town Hall. This is double the initial figure of 300 reported by the police. Nonetheless, this is thus quite a small-scale demonstration compared to many that the EDL have staged, which is unsurprising given the low level of publicity that it has enjoyed.

As ever, counter-demonstrators are descending upon Rochdale, but they are reported to be far fewer in number. An estimated 50 to 100 SWP-led UAF counter-demonstrators are said to be heading from Stonyfield Park to confront the EDL protestors. Let's hope that the police keep them well back from the demonstration and do not fall victim to Trotskyist-inspired violence. It is a pity that their presence causes towns and cities hosting demonstrations to lose much of their trade for the day because of the violence that they unleash and then attribute to the EDL. Having said that, the large police presence is said to be permitting people to go about their normal Saturday activities in the town centre, which is a fact that can only be welcomed, especially during these hard economic times.

Shortly after 1.00pm, it was reported that fireworks went off in the EDL crowd. The report however, did not make clear whether these were thrown at the EDL (most likely) or otherwise. Reports also mentioned Muslim Defence League (MDL) protesters, but numbers were not provided, as well as MPAC members who were out trying to get Muslims involved in their lobbying activities.

According to the BBC, 24 arrests were made, although as in all of its initial reporting of such protests, it did not state whether these were of UAF, MDL, MPAC or EDL supporters. This is the standard tactic employed by the BBC, which seeks to imprint in the public mind the notion that the majority, if not all of the arrests are of EDL supporters. Previous experience has shown that the bulk of arrests tend to be from those attempting to prevent the EDL from exercising their right to free speech. Three people have been arrested for 'possession of an offensive weapon' and a further four for 'public order offences'.

EDL Rochdale Demo Promo Video

This video, released to explain the EDL's reason for holding a protest in Rochdale today, is illuminating. Once again, it details cases of systematic abuse of underage English girls by groups (often families) of Pakistani Muslim males. Quite why people continue to believe that this sickening problem is not specifically associated with doctrinaire Islamic ideology, I do not know. This problem must be removed, and our children protected.

Not a great deal has yet been written about tomorrow’s planned EDL protest in Rochdale. All I will say to the EDL and their supporters at this point is: let it be peaceful; get your message across, and don’t be provoked. Lastly, but not least: good luck!

Understandably, others have a rather different perspective. For a change though, I am not going to dwell upon the slogan spouting Left who will of course be there to try and pick a fight, whip up hatred and generally cause mayhem whilst claiming all along that ‘it was the EDL that did it!’ Instead, I am going to look at the response of a local Muslim blogger to the EDL’s decision to protest in Rochdale.

Majed Iqbal describes himself in the third person as follows:

Majed is a well known figure in Rochdale (UK). He actively works on the ground at a grass roots level in shaping the views of Muslims on local, national and international issues and is fluid in airing his views through writing, media, and at organised events.

If Majed happened to be a resident of one of the North African or Middle Eastern countries currently undergoing political upheaval, the BBC would be inclined to describe him as ‘web-savvy’, ‘modern’ and a ‘democrat’. Unfortunately, like many of those upon whom they project these labels overseas, only the first of these adjectives applies to Majed. As you can see from Majed’s photograph below, he looks just the sort of Muslim chap that the BBC likes to pack into the Question Time studio or into Nicky Campbell’s Big Questions audience: opinionated, yet calm and assertive. He lacks the ‘luxuriant beard’ and ‘austere’ appearance that mark out more overtly ‘devout’ (doctrinaire) Muslims, which the BBC recognises might ‘frighten the horses’ so to speak. However, looking into his writings, we see that this is just what he is: ‘devout’. The horses ought to be frightened.

Nontheless, I’ll give Majed credit where credit is due, for he does not try to hide his opinions. He is quite honest about them. However, what he writes reveals the unbridgeable gulf between the doctrinaire Muslim mind – conditioned to mental submission and slavery – and the non-Muslim mind, which seeks liberty and freedom of thought. With Majed, as with Thatcher, you know where you stand.

Being of the ideological persuasion that he is, convinced of the intrinsic ‘merits’ and ‘superiority’ of Islam, Majed is unsurprisingly perturbed by the EDL’s decision to protest in his town of residence. He writes, in quite an unselfconscious and thus unintentionally amusing manner:

The EDL is an organisation which claims that Islam is problematic and that Shariah (islamic Law) which Muslims follow is extremist.

From this sentence we discover a great deal about Majed: he thinks that Shariah is an unqualified ‘good thing’ and is not ‘extremist’, which is an opinion that I hold to be a very bad thing. Majed outlines six personal recommendations for how the town’s ‘Muslim community’ should respond to tomorrow’s EDL protest. I reproduce his points three, four and five below in full, for once again, they give us an interesting insight into the workings of the Muslim mind. It is also important to note that he has rumbled the SWP’s game, and thus calls upon his co-religionists not to do the Trotskyists' dirty work for them.

3. Help us educate our youth

Our youth are our future, and we must not allow them to be easily provoked by racists or by hot-headed leftists, who get the Muslim youth to carry out their dirty work. We should remember that in the Bradford riots it was Muslim youth sent to prison for acts organised by right-wing racists and leftist opponents.

4. Be clear about what they are aiming for

It is nothing less than for Muslims to abandon the noble Islamic values, and become westernised. This was the same aim of the government’s PVE (Preventing Violent Extremism) programme. We have to know how to defend the ideas they attack. We cannot simply allow them to bully us to distance ourselves from Islam and the Shariah in this way. In particular, the Imams and Ulema have a role and a responsibility to teach the community the truth of Islam.

5. We must reach out to local non-Muslims

As a Dawah to Islam and to counter the twisted understanding of Islam they get from media outlets and politicians we must present Islam to non-Muslims. Local masjids should think about organising open days or Islam awareness days to present the correct view of Islam to non-Muslims and to dispel the many misconceptions people have about Islam and Muslims.

Are you relishing the prospect of attending an 'open day' at one of Majed's recommended Rochdale masjids? Pardon me if I turn down this invitation.

Majed can accurately be characterised, in objective language that the mainstream media would not care to employ, as a confident colonist and a Muslim cultural imperialist. He wishes to impose backward alien values upon our land and our people, and although of course opinion pollsters would report that Majed is all for 'integration' and thus claim that he is 'moderate' and all for upholding 'British values' (sic), it is 'integration' of a very specific type: absorption of our people into Islam. Neither this stance, nor the presence of people who advocate it, should be acceptable within our shores.

Majed advocates Shariah and the outright rejection of English/British/European/secular norms. He demands maintaining the separation of Muslim 'youth' from the rest of society, and calls upon the Muslim faithful to proselytise amongst us non-believers. Quite how he thinks that we possess a ‘twisted understanding of Islam’ I therefore do not profess to know. Shariah is barbarism. There must be one secular law for all in our country, and Shariah or any other religious law must never have any place in our legal system. Anyone who disagrees with this position ought to set up home in a country elsewhere that has a legal system compatible with their system of belief. Should the day come that Majed’s line of thought no longer has a toehold in our country, then the time will have arrived for the EDL to stop protesting and return to the football terraces. Until that time however, the EDL will remain a necessary presence on our streets, owing to our politicians' unwillingness to acknowledge that Islamisation is a problem.

Forthcoming EDL Rochdale Demo: Saturday 5 March

It has emerged that the EDL will be holding a demo outside of Rochdale Town Hall this Saturday between 12:00 and 15:00. According to Rochdale online, a promotional poster for the event reads:

The English Defence League is to hold a demonstration in the town of Rochdale to highlight the peoples concerns over the grooming culture amongst the Islamic communities. Recent investigations by [Greater] Manchester Police has led to a number of arrests of Asian men and the former Home Secretary Jack Straw finally bringing this issue to [the] attention of the media and public.

Well, unfortunately there certainly is a “grooming culture” amongst sections of the UK’s Muslim population which stems directly form the example of the life of their ‘Prophet’. As you can see from the squirming displayed by respondents to the Quiz for Muslims, they are unwilling to condemn their model of the ‘perfect’ human being – Mohammed – for his paedophilia. Underage non-Muslim girls, particularly English girls, have been targeted by Muslim paedophile gangs in (amongst other places): Blackburn, Derby, Keighley and Rotherham. If a Muslim will not condemn the paedophilia of his or her beloved Prophet Mohammed, then they should not be permitted to work with children. Getting such individuals debarred from working in nurseries, schools and youth groups should become one of the EDL’s key objectives. This could be enforced by requiring Muslims to sign a statement condemning the paedophilia of Mohammed when applying for jobs. Who could object to such a perfectly reasonable requirement? Either you condemn paedophilia, or you condone it.

Only within this last week, the Daily Mail reported that an English judge by the name of Gareth Hawkesworth passed a derisory sentence on a 26-year-old Muslim named Turon Ali, giving him a 12-month suspended sentence for grooming a 14-year-old schoolgirl. The Mail reports that Ali:

groomed the schoolgirl by sending her explicit text messages and then arranged a secret meeting where he planned to abuse her.

He was only prevented from sexually assaulting the girl when her older brother found one of the texts and alerted police.

But Ali avoided jail at Cambridge Crown Court with a 12-month suspended sentence after a top judge ruled he was 'not a paedophile as such'.

Judge Gareth Hawkesworth said: 'You thought she was ''easy' meat''. You were thrust into a moral vacuum without a single care of what you might be doing.

'You are not a paedophile as such. You are simply a young man who was unable to control his sexual urges.'

In this case, we can see the very worst effects of cultural relativism and politically correct culture in the UK today, which has gone so far that it now apparently allows some Muslim paedophiles to prey upon our children without effective sanction. Turon Ali wasn’t operating in ‘a moral vacuum’ as the judge claimed, but was actually fulfilling his Prophet’s injunction to exploit the female children of unbelievers to gratify his own sexual appetite.

Saturday’s EDL demo has been little publicised, so it is doubtful that it will be a large-scale affair. Nonetheless, the usual violent ‘no-platform’ protesters from the Islamo-Marxist Left including the UAF, Islamic Defence League (do they mean Muslim Defence League?) and a group called ‘Stop the racist EDL coming to Rochdale’ (sounding suspiciously like a joint ‘Hope Not Hate’ and local authority front) are planning to counter-demonstrate. If these groups didn’t turn up to EDL demos, there would be little or no disorder. Hopefully, the police will therefore ensure that EDL supporters are free to exercise their right to peaceful protest without hindrance from their hysterical opponents. Somehow though, this may well not be the case.

Lord Ahmed defends predatory Muslim Paedophiles

The Mail has today run an extraordinary story in which Labour ‘Lord’ Ahmed (another fake peer in the mould of bogus ‘Baroness’ Warsi) has spoken up in defence of predatory Pakistani paedophiles. Instead of blaming these despicable men for their repellent crimes, he instead has the gall to blame white English society, our women in particular, for the perpetration of these misdeeds. The pro-paedophile peer was speaking in response to the recent reporting of the phenomenon of on-street underage grooming of young English girls which has been conducted almost exclusively by Muslims, predominantly Pakistanis.

It is obvious to anyone who knows about Islam that such behaviour is not only sanctioned by the religion, but openly encouraged by the example of its founder. How many times have you heard that Mohammed was the perfect man and should never under any circumstances be criticised? How often have you heard it said that Muslims should seek to emulate his life and example? Well, given that Mohammed himself was a violent predatory paedophile who deliberately targeted unbelievers for his murderous crimes, why ought we to be surprised when those who see this individual as the ‘perfect man’ hold our children in contempt and abuse them for their debased sexual gratification? They are doing nothing more than being ‘good’ Muslims in the mould of Mohammed. Thankfully of course, many Muslims owing to their innate human decency choose not to follow the example of this pariah prophet, and I am not in any way seeking to impugn their good characters.

The pro-paedophile peer justified the actions of the Muslim child rapists with reference to the fact that a number of them had been forced into unhappy first-cousin marriages, but then he adds:

‘But they are looking for fun in their sexual activities and seek out vulnerable girls.’

He said Asian men resort to abusing young white girls because they do not want meaningful relationships with adult white women.

‘An adult woman – if you are having an affair – would want your time, money and for you to break up your marriage,’ the peer added.

So Ahmed, are you implying that our women should simply allow themselves to be sexually available to service your emotionally damaged co-religionists? You are are effectively demanding that our women give themselves up as whores to be abused whenever the lusts of male members of your soi-disant ‘community’ move them to search out an object of gratification. Your attitude is self-serving and repellent.

I am sure that with Ahmed and Warsi sat in the House of Lords our women and girls will be feeling very ‘safe’, knowing that they are to blame for the rapes, pimping and drug addiction that are forced upon them by Pakistani Muslim gangs in so many of our towns and cities. Derby, Keighley, Rotherham, Rochdale: all have witnessed this pattern of abuse. In how many other locations is this sad story played out? Well Sayeeda, thanks for accusing us all of Islamophobia. Remember, a phobia is an irrational fear. What is irrational about fearing men who follow a creed that urges them to systematically sexually abuse those who do not follow their faith?

If you have daughters and live in an area near to a Muslim population, my advice to you would be to ensure that they know from an early age that they should as a precaution keep away from Muslim males, and that they are aware of the historical character and crimes of Mohammed. Protect your children from predation, because I can assure you that our educational system is filling their heads with a bowldlerised vision of Islam which leaves them naively vulnerable.

Gordon Brown's Rochdale Gaffe

Gordon Brown says that he’s “mortified”. Of course he’s “mortified”, as the stupid cyclopean git has just realised that he has effectively nailed the coffin shut on Labour’s electoral chances in the forthcoming election. He is “mortified” not because of the things he said about Rochdale pensioner Gillian Duffy, but because these things were caught on air and broadcast for all to hear. What he said is what he and his party believe about ordinary English women and men such as Mrs Duffy: Brown et al think that we’re all ‘bigots’. Anyone who questions the political elite's deliberate policy of swamping the UK with immigrants is branded a 'bigot', at best. The usual epithets cast at us are 'fascist', 'Nazi', 'far-right', etc. The BBC reports that

As he went to get into his car, Mr Brown told her: "Very nice to meet you, very nice to meet you." But off camera, and not realising he still had a Sky News microphone pinned to his shirt, he was heard to tell an aide: "That was a disaster - they should never have put me with that woman. Whose idea was that? It's just ridiculous..."


Asked what she had said, he is heard to reply: "Ugh everything! She's just a sort of bigoted woman that said she used to be Labour. I mean it's just ridiculous. I don't know why Sue brought her up towards me."

When she was quizzed as to what she thought of Brown’s Comments she stated:

"I'm very upset. He's an educated person. Why has he come out with words like that? "He's supposed to be leading the country and he's calling an ordinary woman who's come up and asked questions that most people would ask him... It's going to be tax, tax, tax for another 20 years to get out of this national debt, and he's calling me a bigot."

Having returned home late this evening, I caught Channel 4 News. One of the insulted woman's relatives was interviewed, and she too said that she was once a Labour voter, but as of today, was so no longer. "Will you vote Conservative?" she was asked. "No" came the reply. "Will you vote Liberal Democrat?" She was evasive and wouldn’t say yes or no, but the expression on her face told me that the penny had finally dropped for her and other former Labour-voting members of her family. She realised what our establishment politicians think of ordinary English people. In her eyes I glimpsed an angry, knowing and mischievous look which suggested "We know where we are now. We know whose looking out for us, and it's not you." A harvest of votes for the BNP is there for the gathering. How many, no-one can know, but at the minimum it will be in the tens of thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands.

It may be too late in the campaign for the party to overcome the continuous barrage of assaults, court cases and negative spin from its opponents, but the sons and daughters of Albion are beginning to stir, and I feel more hopeful today then ever hitherto, that we will not have to wait long to see the BNP make its much-needed Westminster breakthrough. Only the BNP will speak out for the native people of Britain. The other parties, particularly Labour, the Lib Dems and the Conservatives, actively hate us. On Friday 7 May, what surprises await us?
