Bradford’s Muslim Grooming Gangs: have the politically correct blinkers been removed?

The Telegraph and Argus today ran with a prominent report on local MP Kris Hopkins’s contribution to the House of Commons Home Affairs Select Committee’s inquiry into child grooming. Although it does not describe itself as investigating Muslim child grooming, which would be the case if this phenomenon were no longer being treated in a politically correct fashion, this is in effect what it is examining, following the recent scandals connected to such practices in Rotherham and Rochdale. Indeed, whilst this inquiry takes place the nine Muslim men arrested as part of Operation Bullfinch are standing trial for perpetrating this sort of crime in Oxford over a number of years.

Hopkins stated that over the past two months 30 people had been arrested in the Bradford area in connection with grooming crimes, and that there are also a number of “ongoing cases”. However, according to the Telegraph and Argus, he claims that this crackdown was evidence of the fact that ‘the days when alleged “political correctness” made the authorities reluctant to act were gone.’ Ann Cryer, an earlier incumbent of Hopkins’s Keighley and Ilkley seat, has also appeared before the Committee. She is quoted by the Yorkshire Post as stating that the inter-agency working necessary for tackling this and related problems simply “wasn’t happening” when she was an MP. Moreover, she drew attention to another repellent cultural aspect of the ‘community’ from whose ranks the grooming gangs originate: 

The West Yorkshire Police, Bradford local authority, social services, schools, hospitals even – because abortions were taking place – none of them were working together. None of them were giving information. I feel pretty convinced that at that time there was a fear of being called a racist.

There still is such a fear Ann. Ask anyone who works in the public sector and who has to pay at least lip service to the irrational diversity dogma that is thrust upon us. Criticise Islam or associate any negative practice with it and you’ll find yourself in pretty damned hot water very fast. If you offend a Muslim colleague in this manner you can kiss goodbye to any prospects of career advancement. We live in a self-inflicted climate of fear thanks to the legislation that emanated from the thoroughly wrongheaded Machpherson Report and its invention of the fictitious crime of ‘institutional racism’ and the extension of the term ‘racism’ to include criticism of negative practices conducted predominantly by ethnic minorities.

Although Ann Cryer has over the years done much good in trying to draw attention to this form of paedophile grooming, the local Labour Party that she represented was at least initially reluctant to publicise the true extent of this ugly reality, and it is unfortunate to say that at that time it took the actions of the BNP to flush this scandal out into the public arena. Similarly, it does beg the question as to how seriously Hopkins et al would be taking the gang grooming phenomenon were it not for the series of noisy protests mounted by the EDL across the country, including in Keighley, Rotherham and Rochdale. Whether you happen to agree with their tactics or not, they have helped to bring this ugly phenomenon to the attention of a wider public, no matter how unwelcome that might be to certain Westminster politicians eager not to ‘offend’ the Muslim bloc vote. One can only conclude therefore, that given the sluggishness of Westminster politicians to recognise the nature and extent of this type of criminal behaviour and their ongoing inability to name it for what it is – Muslim paedophile grooming – political correctness reigns supreme. Only once we are rid of the intellectually and morally corrosive effects of the Macpherson Report will we be able to deal with this problem properly, and root it out once and for all.

Frying Tonight! Abid Hussain’s BMW Arson Brawl

Keighley has never possessed the most genteel of reputations, and that Emily Brontë should have dreamt up her thuggish piece of rough Heathcliffe whilst living in neighbouring Haworth should come as no surprise; this fictional creation perhaps encapsulating a number of the negative characteristics associated with a certain type of Keighley resident. Some aspects of Keighley life, it would seem, have not changed greatly since the 1840s.

Adding to this rich tapestry of local life and lore, comes news today that local Labour Councillor for Keighley Central and vice-president of the Keighley Muslim Association – Abid Hussain – is one of six men to have been arrested this past weekend “following the torching of a BMW X5 in Devonshire Street where he lives and where a brawl broke out on 8 August this year.” He is currently on bail, whereas his son, Majid Hussain, will according to The Telegraph and Argus shortly be charged with “causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing an imitation firearm in relation to the events of August 8.” It looks an ugly business, with the arson attack being but one of a number of similar recent events in the town. What could have led to this outbreak of violence? Details have yet to emerge regarding the underpinning motivations and who precisely was responsible, so Councillor Hussain’s role in this matter is far from clear.

Although Councillor Hussain is not a man familiar to many of us, his appearance may be, for he does bear something of a striking resemblance to a certain character from Carry on Screaming, as can be seen below. Taking this into account, should he have been bailed so close to Halloween? Local children could be terrified.

Vicious Keighley Attack: Seven arrested

The Telegraph and Argus this evening ran a report on two incidents that occurred late yesterday afternoon in Keighley. The first of these was a violent attack by “A group of Asian men” upon the ethnically unspecified passengers of a “silver vehicle” on Redcliffe Street in the Highfield area of the town, whereas the second was a crash involving a red Toyota Corolla and a blue Ford Focus in the Utley area a few minutes later. The occupants of the Toyota Corolla are believed to have been the men who instigated the earlier attack on Redcliffe Street. As yet, the motive for the assault has not been divulged, although seven residents have been arrested, one of whom is being treated in Bradford Royal Infirmary. The men were aged between 18 and 37.

It seems peculiar that the ethnic background of the attackers was identified, whereas that of their victims was not. This would seem to suggest that the latter were of a different background to the assailants.

Both incidents took place at around 5pm yesterday, and the police have issued the following appeal:

Witnesses or anyone with information should contact Airedale and North Bradford Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Hopefully, the victims of the attack did not sustain any lasting injuries.

Keighley EDL Demo: Background and Coverage

Following the recent arrest of ten men (eight of whom were from Keighley) for a grooming case involving a 14-year-old Keighley girl, the EDL took the decision to hold a demonstration in the West Yorkshire town. The men are believed to be from a Muslim background owing to the language employed in connection with the case, with "community leaders" (which in the Keighley context is code for Muslim) having been "briefed" by the police in connection with the operation.

As detailed previously, Keighley has had a significant problem with paedophile grooming for a number of years, with Muslim men targeting and abusing English girls. To the credit of former MP Anne Cryer, she has done much to address this problem and other negative issues associated with certain "cultural practices" emanating from the "Muslim community", but evidently this has not been as effective as it should have been, for it has been reported that police and social services have continued to be reluctant to tackle allegations of grooming involving "Asian males". That Cryer managed to change the law to make grooming for sex a criminal offence was a considerable achievement, but the existence of a reluctance, at least until recently, to tackle such crimes, indicates that more needs to be done to apply the law and to take allegations of grooming seriously; they need to be acted upon without fear of "offending community sensibilities" and irrespective of any thought that these could lead to either the police or social services being perceived as "racist". Indeed, the worst obstacle to effectively tackling such crimes seems to originate with other legislation calling for "respect" for "cultural diversity" and the implicit and misguided assumptions about "institutional racism" that this contains. Ultimately, if the problem of grooming perpetrated by gangs of Muslim males is to be tackled as it should be, the legislation flowing from the Macpherson Report needs to be ditched, along with its central spurious concept of "institutional racism".

The recent rise of the EDL may it seems, have contributed towards prompting the police to act against Muslim paedophile gangs, with recent prominent cases involving groomers resident in Rochdale and Oxford. In the notorious Rochdale case, police and social services were once again said to have been aware of the crimes that were taking place, but had failed to tackle them for years because of fears of being accused of "racism". Taking these facts into consideration, a campaigning organisation such as the EDL clearly needed to come into existence to compel the authorities to take the reality of this phenomenon seriously and, most importantly, to act to tackle it. Thus, although Anne Cryer and other local political figures such as Keighley Central Councillor Khadim Hussain have called upon the EDL to cancel their demo, it seems that such protests could continue to be necessary to keep this issue in the public eye and ensure that it is tackled and not swept under the target. It therefore appears disingenuous for Councillor Hussain to state in an interview with the Telegraph and Argus:

These people are outsiders who have no interest in Keighley at all. They are only coming into Keighley to fuel unrest and animosity among the communities who are living peacefully together.

Such words appear to be aimed squarely at his core Muslim constituents who comprise the bulk of the voting bloc within Keighley Central, rather than genuinely representing the intention of the demonstrators. It is precisely the stance of individuals such as Hussain that creates resentment owing to its dismissive attitude towards the stated concerns of the EDL.

It is not expected that today's demo will be a large one, but protesters will be heading to the Keighley pub - The Commercial - from 12pm as their assembly point, with the demo itself taking place at nearby Church Green at 2pm. Other pubs in the town centre are reported to be shutting down for the afternoon, which given the current tough economic climate will be an unwelcome additional burden upon publicans, although it could well be a sensible precautionary measure.

The Keighley EDL Division Facebook page states that the demo will also feature speeches. Those who have followed reporting such demos previously, will be aware that they are generally accompanied by counter-demonstrations that necessitate an expensive policing operation, yet on this occasion at least the Bradford spokesman for one anti-EDL campaign group - Hope not Hate - has called for people not to demonstrate against the EDL. Moreover, another local councillor named Abid Hussain has sensibly appealed to Muslims in Keighley to ensure that there is "no confrontation" with the demonstrators. On the other hand, local Conservative MP Kris Hopkins has shamefully stated that "regrettably, current legislation does not provide for such a gathering to be banned". Clearly, Mr Hopkins's support for freedom of speech and assembly is somewhat deficient. If MPs such as Hopkins did their jobs properly, there would be no need for the EDL to exist. Sadly, this is evidently not the case.

Thus far, it seems that the anti-EDL tweeters are in the majority. Someone named Mohammed Shafiq has stated that he will be in Keighley today filming for a BBC documentary. It seems that an SWP-inspired group named "We are Keighley" (WAK) has sprung into existence rather like the "We are Bristol" SWP front group created to counter the EDL's recent Bristol demo. Has it just latched onto the "We are" verbal formula, or is it genuinely SWP controlled? One of WAK's tweeters named Sana Majeed seemed to imply something threatening by tweeting: "Can't believe they're protesting in Keighley. Asian populated area. They won't survive." This sort of inflammatory language, from whichever side it originates, is grossly irresponsible.

The anti-EDL Hope not Hate blog believes that turnout at today's demo will be low (which could well be the case), claiming that whereas the EDL's North East Division has previously chartered coaches to attend protests, today it is rumoured that its contingent has managed to fit "into one car". As can be seen from the picture at this link, it seems that members of a breakaway group from the EDL - the North East Infidels - are also present at today's protest. A number of people have tweeted that the police presence in Keighley is significant, but unlike at a number of other EDL demos, no fencing has been set up to contain the EDL protest.

A little before midday, Hope not Hate reported that the police had taken one EDL supporter in for questioning in central Bradford, where circa 50 had gathered prior to heading to Keighley. Shortly afterwards, a post on the Casuals United blog claimed that there were 120 EDL protesters "marching through Bradford" to Keighley (via Bradford Forster Square Station presumably). As of 1.30pm, BBC reporter Len Tingle tweeted that there were circa 150 EDL demonstrators in Keighley, and just before 2pm revealed that a "thunderflash firework" had gone off on the edge of the demo, without specifying who had thrown it. At 2.35pm Tingle stated that the police had brought buses in "to ferry" the EDL back to the railway station as they do not wish to risk them walking through town. Looking at the relatively small numbers in the pictures below, this does not suggest that they are concerned about potential violence on the part of the demonstrators, but from elsewhere. Presumably they cannot be about to board them at this point, as the demo has only been in progress for 35 minutes.

According to BBC Look North, two EDL demonstrators were arrested this afternoon. Keighley News noted that the demonstration passed largely without incident, with the 160 demonstrators being taken away from the scene of the demo aboard double-decker buses. However, it did note that at least two fireworks were let off and that police and demonstrators had "clashed" this afternoon. As in the Len Tingle tweet, no reference was to made as to the origins of the fireworks. The next EDL demonstration is scheduled for 1st September in Walthamstow, having been put back from its original date this month.

Keighley: Muslim Paedophile Grooming Arrests

It seems that the suspicions voiced in yesterday's brief report relating to the arrest of ten men in the Bradford area for unspecified "sexual offences" have proven to be well founded, for the Telegraph and Argus today reveals that the ten have been arrested "as part of an ongoing investigation by West Yorkshire Police, which is believed to be linked to sexual grooming." Eight of the ten are residents of Keighley and "community leaders" (code for Muslim) are said to have been consulted before the arrests took place on Wednesday. Two Muslim Labour councillors - Abid Hussain and Khadim Hussain - are quoted in the article, with Abid stating: "The police have done what they should be doing in arresting these people. It is disappointing. However, I fully support the police and will work with them." It would be helpful if the councillor made clear what he meant by "disappointing", and hopefully it means that he is appalled by the crimes.

The victim of this latest alleged paedophile grooming ring is said to be a 14-year-old girl from Keighley. It could be that this case may relate to one publicised by the Keighley News in 2010, in which an unnamed father expressed his despair at the failure of police and social services to protect his daughter from a Muslim paedophile gang who plied her with cocaine and cannabis, reducing her to a "sombre, scared shell in less than six months." This, unfortunately, is no isolated case, for Keighley is no stranger to this phenomenon, for it paid host to one of the most notorious cases of this type in the early 2000s which involved the abuse of local girls by at least 60 Muslim men. 

Green Breast emerges from Keighley's Ghousia Mosque

Keighley, already home to the lowering presence of the recently built child-beating facility (see clip from Dispatches ‘Lessons in Hate’ documentary below) called the Markazi Jamia Mosque, large enough to accommodate 3,000 worshipping child-beaters, will shortly be joined by another factory of hate on Skipton Road. Draped in tarpaulins, the green dome of the Ghousia Mosque emerges from the drapes like a cheeky pert breast from beneath a burqa. When completed, the new mosque will be able to accommodate 400 worshippers. Like the Markazi Jamia, the Ghousia is affiliated to the ‘British’ Muslim Forum and represents the Bareilvi Sunni sect.

The construction of this mosque so soon after the Markazi Jamia, painfully illustrates the ultra-rapid growth of the Muslim population in Keighley. This is not good news for local people, already victims of Muslim paedophile pimps and depressed property prices generated by the burgeoning Muslim presence. Lord Ahmed defends predatory Muslim Paedophiles

The Mail has today run an extraordinary story in which Labour ‘Lord’ Ahmed (another fake peer in the mould of bogus ‘Baroness’ Warsi) has spoken up in defence of predatory Pakistani paedophiles. Instead of blaming these despicable men for their repellent crimes, he instead has the gall to blame white English society, our women in particular, for the perpetration of these misdeeds. The pro-paedophile peer was speaking in response to the recent reporting of the phenomenon of on-street underage grooming of young English girls which has been conducted almost exclusively by Muslims, predominantly Pakistanis.

It is obvious to anyone who knows about Islam that such behaviour is not only sanctioned by the religion, but openly encouraged by the example of its founder. How many times have you heard that Mohammed was the perfect man and should never under any circumstances be criticised? How often have you heard it said that Muslims should seek to emulate his life and example? Well, given that Mohammed himself was a violent predatory paedophile who deliberately targeted unbelievers for his murderous crimes, why ought we to be surprised when those who see this individual as the ‘perfect man’ hold our children in contempt and abuse them for their debased sexual gratification? They are doing nothing more than being ‘good’ Muslims in the mould of Mohammed. Thankfully of course, many Muslims owing to their innate human decency choose not to follow the example of this pariah prophet, and I am not in any way seeking to impugn their good characters.

The pro-paedophile peer justified the actions of the Muslim child rapists with reference to the fact that a number of them had been forced into unhappy first-cousin marriages, but then he adds:

‘But they are looking for fun in their sexual activities and seek out vulnerable girls.’

He said Asian men resort to abusing young white girls because they do not want meaningful relationships with adult white women.

‘An adult woman – if you are having an affair – would want your time, money and for you to break up your marriage,’ the peer added.

So Ahmed, are you implying that our women should simply allow themselves to be sexually available to service your emotionally damaged co-religionists? You are are effectively demanding that our women give themselves up as whores to be abused whenever the lusts of male members of your soi-disant ‘community’ move them to search out an object of gratification. Your attitude is self-serving and repellent.

I am sure that with Ahmed and Warsi sat in the House of Lords our women and girls will be feeling very ‘safe’, knowing that they are to blame for the rapes, pimping and drug addiction that are forced upon them by Pakistani Muslim gangs in so many of our towns and cities. Derby, Keighley, Rotherham, Rochdale: all have witnessed this pattern of abuse. In how many other locations is this sad story played out? Well Sayeeda, thanks for accusing us all of Islamophobia. Remember, a phobia is an irrational fear. What is irrational about fearing men who follow a creed that urges them to systematically sexually abuse those who do not follow their faith?

If you have daughters and live in an area near to a Muslim population, my advice to you would be to ensure that they know from an early age that they should as a precaution keep away from Muslim males, and that they are aware of the historical character and crimes of Mohammed. Protect your children from predation, because I can assure you that our educational system is filling their heads with a bowldlerised vision of Islam which leaves them naively vulnerable.

Keighley: BNP Target Seat Number Three

Andrew Brons was recently selected as the BNP candidate for Keighley. Having acquited himself well since he became the party's MEP for Yorkshire last June, Brons is fighting for the seat contested by Nick Griffin himself in 2005. This time around, veteran Labour MP Anne Cryer is standing down, with the Labour candidature falling instead to Jane Thomas. To be fair to Cryer, she did at least acknowledge that there were problems specific to some elements of the Muslim population in Keighley, but unfortunately, she and the local Labour Party at first claimed that the BNP were lying when the latter drew attention to the serious issue of Muslim males grooming local native schoolgirls; plying them with drugs (heroin in particular), and sexually abusing them amongst their family networks. It took the BNP's honesty to force the issue of this Islamic paedophile pimping into the open, but sadly, as more recent cases in Rotherham and other northern towns attest, this is a problem which has yet to be eradicated.

Keighley is a demographically diverse constituency which includes not only working-class Keighley and its outlying Pennine villages, but also the wealthy town of Ilkley in neighbouring Wharfedale which is natural Conservative territory. Keighley itself contains a significant Muslim population comprised of Pakistanis and Bangladeshis (officially circa 15% in 2001 but now higher, yielding an estimated total of 7,000 voters in 2005 according to Muslim News). The seat has thus swung from Conservative to Labour and back again.

Anne Cryer took the seat for Labour in the 1997 General Election with 50.6% of the vote. However, in the subsequent elections of 2001 and 2005 her share shrank first to 48.2% then 44.7%. With Cryer's departure and Labour's general malaise in the polls, it is likely that Jane Thomas, a career politician very much in the New Labour mould (studied Politics at Swansea University, worked briefly for Sheffield Newspapers then spent 16 years as a university lecturer teaching Politics and Public Policy Management) will secure no more than 35% of the vote at best. The seat is likely to turn Tory and fall to Kris Hopkins.

Although Andrew Brons is an excellent candidate, like other BNP members he has a hard task on his hands trying to make significant inroads in the constituency in the face of bitter opposition. When Nick Griffin stood there in 2005 the national media were up in arms and Searchlight and Hope Not Hate ran an intensive operation in Keighley barraging its voters with anti-BNP propaganda. This is probably being repeated today. The other Nick ('Saint' Clegg) recently chose to vent his morally indignant spleen upon the BNP whilst pandering to the Muslim bloc vote on the BBC Asian Network stating "I feel really strongly about this. The BNP is an evil, vile, fascist organisation." Strangely, this generic rant agains the BNP was reported by Keighley News. The Liberal Democrats are once again standing Nader Fekri as their candidate, and it is my guess that he could lure a goodly proportion of the Muslim bloc vote away from Labour. Although Fekri secured only 11.8% in 2005, I would anticipate something in the region of 16% next month.

Nick Griffin managed to poll 4240 votes, some 9.2% of the total. He did this in competition with only the three main parties, but this time around both UKIP and, bizarrely, the National Front (an historical throwback) are also fielding Paul Latham and Steven Smith respectively. If anything, UKIP will take as many if not more votes from Eurosceptic Tories as from the BNP, whereas the National Front is more or less an irrelevance which is unlikely to secure more than 1% of the vote. Given that Brons will be subject to a significant black propaganda effort and will not receive favourable coverage in the local print and electronic media, I would be surprised if he was able to better Griffin's share of the vote. Although I think Brons deserves to win, and has been given odds of 20/1 by Paddypower.com to take the seat, my guess is that the final result will look something akin to the following: Conservative 36%; Labour 33%; Liberal Democrat 16%; BNP 9%; UKIP 5%; National Front 1%.  If Andrew Brons is able to secure more than 15% of the votes cast he will have done extremely well.
