Given the country's history and geography it is understandable that this is so, as it has not been exposed to other ideological currents. They seem to be stuck in the 1950s, and are unable to adopt any sort of democratic system of thought.<br />I would love to support the Iranian opposition, but, like you, will not support communists such as the Mujahedin-e-Kalkh.
